This page sets out the disclaimer referred to in the footer of email sent from SEG Core Ltd addresses. It applies to that email and to any attachment sent with it.

Intended recipient

An email from us is intended solely for the addressee. If you are not the addressee, please do not read, print, copy, re-transmit, store or act in reliance on it or any of its attachments. Please delete it and let the sender know, so that we can correct our records.

Confidentiality and legal privilege

Our email may contain confidential information, and may also in certain circumstances be subject to applicable legal privilege. Neither confidentiality nor privilege is waived or lost by reason of mistaken delivery to you.

Contracts

Contracts may only be concluded on behalf of SEG Core Ltd by SEG Core Ltd authorised signatories, and not by email communication. Nothing said in an email exchange should be taken as an offer, an acceptance, a variation or a waiver unless it has been expressly confirmed in writing by an authorised signatory.

Employee conduct

Employees of SEG Core Ltd are expressly required not to make any defamatory statement by email, and not to infringe or authorise any infringement of copyright or any other legal right. Nor may they send any statement that is threatening, obscene or otherwise inappropriate. Any such communication is contrary to company policy and outside the scope of the employment of the individual concerned. SEG Core Ltd accepts no liability in respect of a communication of that kind, and the employee responsible will be personally liable for any damages or other liability arising from it.

Viruses and interception

Computer viruses can be transmitted by email, and you should be aware that email may be intercepted, corrupted, delayed or altered by third parties in transit. You should carry out your own virus checks before opening any attachment. Neither SEG Core Ltd nor the sender accepts liability for any damage caused by a virus transmitted by email, or for any change made to a message after it was sent.

Monitoring

SEG Core Ltd reserves the right to monitor and record email sent to and from its systems where it has reason to suspect misuse, or where it is required to do so by law. We do not routinely or systematically monitor the content of staff email.
