Who actually does it
SEG WiFi handles wireless surveys, network installation and structured cabling across the UK and Europe. It is not a partner or a subcontractor — it is the same company, trading under a different name, using the same directly employed engineers and the same accreditations as SEG Core.
SEG Core deliberately covers three service lines: managed IT support, cyber security and building security. Wi-Fi and cabling sit next door rather than here, because pretending to be a specialist in everything is how clients end up with a survey that was never really a survey.
What SEG WiFi does
- Predictive and on-site wireless surveys — measured, not guessed, with a coverage guarantee attached to the design
- Network installation — switching, access points, containment and the power to run it
- Structured cabling — Cat6/6A and fibre, patch panels, labelling and certification you can hand to an auditor
- Multi-site rollouts — the same build repeated across an estate, on one programme
Why it matters that we're the same group
Wi-Fi problems are rarely Wi-Fi problems. They are usually cabling, power, switching or DHCP — which is exactly the point at which a separate wireless contractor and a separate IT provider start pointing at each other. Because both sit inside The Specialist Electrical Group, the survey, the cabling, the switching and the support that follows are one team's responsibility and one invoice.
How to order it
Either way works. Go direct to segwifi.co.uk, or tell us and we will put it on the same order as your IT and security work. If your enquiry turns out to be half network and half IT — which is common — that second route saves a conversation.
