The challenge
Not every job is a new system. At Coatbridge in North Lanarkshire, Process Sensing Technologies already had security in place and in daily use. The question was who would look after it — routine maintenance, and a fast fix when a part gives up — from several hundred miles away.
What we did
SEG Core took on maintenance and repairs for the installed system. Being cloud-managed, it tells us a great deal before anyone sets off: we can usually see the fault from our desk, so when an engineer does make the trip they arrive already knowing what has failed.
The outcome
One contact for the whole site, and a system that stays in service. Distance is a logistics question for us, not a reason to lower the standard.
